What's Burger Bash?
Halifax Burger Bash is a city-wide burger-eating phenomenon and fundraiser for Feed Nova Scotia put on by The Coast. Creative burger offerings either have a special set price, or a higher price with the restaurant making a donation to Feed Nova Scotia from every burger sold. The lineup guides patrons all over the city to new restaurants and old favourites alike, all in the name of burgers! Raising $993,821 for Feed Nova Scotia over the past 12 years, it has become the largest fundraiser for the organization outside of their own initiatives.

For your chance to win, pick up a printed passport at any one of the participating Halifax Burger Bash restaurants listed here on this site. During the 10 days, get out to at least 3 locations and have your server stamp or initial on their restaurant description. The way the community comes together each year to help Nova Scotians is nothing short of amazing. Halifax Burger Bash has raised $993,821 for Feed Nova Scotia over the last 12 years. Every $2 raised allows Feed Nova Scotia to distribute three meals worth of donated food. It also supports their efforts to advocate for long-term, policy-based solutions to food insecurity. And when 1 in 3 Nova Scotian households are food insecure, this should be a priority for everyone.
