BE A PART OF THE TEAM

The Coast is seeking team members for our 2024 Burger Squad to promote Halifax Burger Bash April 11 – 20, 2024.

During #HFXBurgerBash, the Burger Squad team will take over the @hfxburgerbash account creating and posting content for all our participating restaurants. We are looking for dynamic and witty social media creators who can tell a story at each restaurant location. There will be lunch and dinner shifts each day from April 11 – 20, ranging from two to four hours per shift. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 shifts during the 10 days. 

Team members should be:

• Be outgoing
• Be social media savvy
• Understand how to create a quality on-brand Instagram story 
• Be able to see and capture moments
• Have attention to detail
• Be comfortable speaking to the public
• Have experience working as a brand ambassador, or be willing to learn
• Access to vehicle to get to restaurant locations

PAY

$18 per hour, minimum 4 hour shifts.

SQUAD TRAINING

We will host a 1.5 hour paid Burger Squad training session in person the week of April 1st where we will be giving a presentation on all things #BurgerSquad.

ABOUT HALIFAX BURGER BASH

Halifax Burger Bash is an annual city-wide fundraiser in support of Feed Nova Scotia, put on by The Coast. Since 2013, Burger Bash has raised $883k for Feed Nova Scotia. Burger specials offerings have a set price of $8 or a higher price with the restaurant making a donation to Feed Nova Scotia from every burger sold. The Burger Bash passport guides patrons all over the city to new restaurants or old favourites alike, all in the name of burgers!
